The facade has been completed in timber construction as a pre-fabricated facade with horizontal larch cladding, while the projecting roofs and entrance canopies are in structural steel.
The prefabricated wooden facade construction had to be adapted to suit the commercial construction. Previous experience in residential building was able to be transferred to the design of this commercial construction.
The main advantages of the chosen façade construction are - larch cladding (a local building material) visible on the exterior, very good heat insulation, very fast assembly time and completion, a pleasant working environment thanks to the wooden surfaces in the inner area and a cost-efficient construction.
The very large mass of the building over 2 stories harmoniously blends into the environment thanks to the good structuring of the cladding on the facade.
